Silk Screening

Variables that may determine pricing:

New vs Repeat Screen 

  • $25 will be charged to cut a new screen. Screens are discarded after 3 years of no use. 

Quantity 

  • Minimum of 12 Pieces required.

  • Price breaks per shirt occur at the following: 24,48,96,144,300,600,1200.

Shade of Shirt vs Ink

  • When the shirt color is darker than the ink, a base layer of ink needs to be added.

  • The extra layer of “color” will slightly increase the price.

Number of Colors Used 

  • More colors means more screens and more cycles.

Common charges that may incur 

New Screen Charge: $25 

  • Screens are kept for 3 years. If they are not used after 3 years, the screen is discarded and a new one needs to be made.

  • A repeat screen will only incur a $12.50 set-up charge.

Artwork Time: $30/hour

  • This charge occurs if the design sent is not in vectors or no specific design is given.

  • Concept art that is a JPG, JPEG, or PNG will incur this charge if we need to spend time converting it to vector.

  • The preferred file form is .eps, .cdr, or a PDF that was taken from vector art.

  • We will inform you if your artwork is not useable as is before we begin recreating your design.

  • If you have a concept or idea for the design, but we need to create art from scratch, you will be charged.


Change of Order or Add On: $15

  • After you have approved the artwork, any additions or subtractions from your order will result in a standardized charge.

  • If you add shirts to the silk screen after it is already complete, it will count as a new order and not count towards a total quantity price break.

  • If there are not 12 pieces to add on, we will need to heat press and the price is not guaranteed to be the same.

Less than Minimum: $25

  • You can use the same design on multiple colors/styles, but if there are not at least 12 of each, this charge will incur​​​​​.

  • Adult and youth sizes can also be mixed in together, with a minimum of 12 each.

  • Examples of when this charge will apply:​

    • 6 Adult Red Cotton T-shirts and 6 Adult Red Hoodies (We will still screen them because it meets the overall screening minimum of 12 pieces with the same design).

    • 12 Adult Red Cotton T-shirts and 10 Adult Red Hoodies (Meets overall screening minimum, but not style minimum)​​.

    • 10 Adult Red Cotton T-Shirts and 2 Youth Red, Cotton T-Shirts (Meets overall screening minimum, but not style minimum).

    • 11 Adult Red Cotton T-Shirts and 11 Adult Red Polyester T-Shirts (Meets overall screening minimum, but not style minimum).

Ink Change / Wash-Up: $15

  • Same design in different colors within the same order will incur this charge.

  • To request this service, each ink color must have at least 12 pieces.

Please plan for 3 weeks of lead time for silk screening orders. This timeline begins upon confirmation of finalized artwork and size runs. We cannot guarantee delivery within that timeframe and may result in heat pressing.
